Crossing borders, drinking beer

Here, on day 4 of 5 we crossed from France into Belgium.  The white line before the STOP on the road to the right is the France/Belgium border.  No signs, no customs, no immigration (Schengen agreement rules!)

But, missing from this screen grab from Google Streetview, is the site that welcomed me - a pile of bikes against the wall and a gaggle of Canadian WW cyclists drinking a celebratory demi.
In addition there was a group on the stop sign halting you, and cheering as you crossed over the line into Belgium.

A beer was welcoming, but maybe not the best choice of rehydration! And the snappy dog in the bar bit a couple of us!
